Our 3-day, 2-night rainforest adventure takes you deep into the heart of Gunung Leuser National Park, one of the world’s most remarkable tropical rainforests. Discover the incredible biodiversity of the Sumatran jungle, home to eight fascinating primate species, along with orangutans, gibbons, monkeys, colorful birds, unique plants, and many other species.During this adventure, you’ll spend two nights camping in two different locations. Your first night is beside a peaceful river, where you can relax to the sounds of the rainforest. The second night is near a beautiful waterfall.On the final day, where your guide and jungle crew will prepare a delicious jungle lunch. Take some time to relax, swim, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.Then, it’s time for an traditional rafting adventure down the Bohorok River, floating through the jungle landscape as you make your way back toward Bukit Lawang.

ITINERARY DURING THE TREK :
DAY 1 — INTO THE JUNGLE
- 8:30 AM — Pick-up & Start Trekking Our local guide will pick you up from your accommodation around Bukit Lawang village. From there, we begin our jungle trekking adventure toward Gunung Leuser National Park.
It takes approximately 30–40 minutes of walking from Bukit Lawang village to reach the border of the national park.
During the Trek Once we enter the rainforest, keep your eyes open for orangutans, monkeys, birds, plants, and other fascinating wildlife. Every trek is different, and wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, but the rainforest is full of surprises.
- 10:30 AM — Break Take a relaxing break and enjoy a selection of fresh tropical fruits.
Continue Deeper into the Jungle After the break, deeper into Gunung Leuser National Park in search of orangutans and other wildlife.
- 12:30 PM — Jungle LunchStop for a well-deserved rest and enjoy a delicious Indonesian-style lunch prepared for you by the trekking team.
Continue Exploring After lunch, continue deeper into the rainforest. Keep your camera ready as we search for orangutans, monkeys, birds, and other wildlife. Your guide will share information about the rainforest, local plants, and the animals that live here.
- 3:30 PM — Arrive at the CampsiteArrive at the beautiful jungle campsite, located beside the river or near a waterfall. Take some time to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, have a small snack, or take a refreshing swim if conditions are suitable.
- 6:30 PM — Enjoy dinner together in our lovely jungle campsite, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.
- After Dinner — Jungle EveningAfter dinner, take some time to relax, play games, share stories, or simply enjoy conversations with your guide and trekking crew.

DAY 2
- 8:30 AM – Breakfast
Good morning! Start the day with a delicious breakfast at the campsite and get ready for another exciting adventure in the rainforest. - 9:00 AM – Continue Jungle Trekking
Begin the second day of jungle trekking from the campsite and continue deeper into the rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Park. During the trek, keep an eye out for orangutans, monkeys, tropical birds, unique plants, and other wildlife. - 11:00 AM – short break to relax and enjoy a selection of fresh tropical fruits

DAY 3 – JUNGLE TREKKING & TRADITIONAL RAFTING

Good morning! Start the day with a delicious breakfast at the campsite - 9:00 AM – have option possible Continue Jungle Trekking
Or just relaxing at the campsite visit waterfall and swimming in the river. - 11:00 AM – relax and enjoy a selection of fresh tropical fruits
- 12:00 PM – Lunch time
- 1:30 PM – Traditional Rafting
Get ready for an exciting traditional rafting adventure on the Bahorok River. Enjoy the river journey through the rainforest before returning to Bukit Lawang village, where the trek comes to an end. - 2:30 PM — Tour finish

- Balance: Remaining 85 % paid in cash or alternative payment method prior to trekking
