As you walk through the jungle, you'll have the opportunity to spot semi-wild orangutans in their natural habitat, along with other fascinating wildlife such as Thomas leaf monkeys, long-tailed macaques, colorful birds, and tropical plants. If you're lucky, you may even see mother orangutans with their playful babies swinging through the forest canopy. Along the way, take a relaxing break to enjoy a selection of fresh tropical fruits while surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the rainforest. ITINERARY DURING THE TREK :
- 08:30 AM – Pick-up from your accommodation in Bukit Lawang village.
- 09:00 AM – Begin a 30–40 minute walk to the entrance of Gunung Leuser National Park, passing through the beautiful surroundings on the edge of the rainforest. During the trek, your guide will help you search for wild orangutans while introducing you to the rich diversity of tropical plants, birds, and other wildlife found in the rainforest.
- 10:30 AM – Take a short break to relax and enjoy a selection of fresh tropical fruits.
- 11:00 AM – Continue trekking through the jungle towards the Bahorok River.
- 12.00 PM – Lunch Indonesian food
- 12 : 30 PM – Combination traditional rafting experience along the Bahorok River, floating back to Bukit Lawang village or your accommodation.
- 13.00 PM – Tour finish

- Deposit: 15 % of booking value paid upon date confirmation to secure your spot.
- Balance: Remaining 85 % paid in cash or alternative payment method prior to trekking
